Full Proposal

We want to fell and completely remove the stumps and root system of two Leylandii trees either side of an garden path to the front door of the property. The trees were originally contained in 500mm x 500mm x 500mm dry stone wall planters either side of a 600mm path. Both trees are taller than the two storey property and one of the tree trunks slopes towards the property at approximately 60 degrees. If the trees were to fall in a strong winds they could damage the property and the neighbours property. The recent storms have prompted the neighbours to raise their concern as they saw how the trees moved in the strong winds. The Leylandii trees have been left to grow naturally for 40 years and now need removing due to their height. We do not intend to replace the trees as a similar situation will occur in the future.
