Tree Works In A Conservation Area
7, Princes Road, Stockport, SK4 3NQ
SK4 3NQFull Proposal
Tree A - Field Maple to the front of the house. Our request is to either reduce the crown by upto 1 /3rd or to completely Pollard the Tree ( this has been done in the past). We wish to retain the tree but need to manage it as it is reaching across to the house. This work maybe delayed for 2 to 3 years. Trees B&C - Beech Trees - both are self seeded and have grown enourmously over the 17 years we have lived at the house. Our plan is to remove 1 or the other and to lift the crown on the remaining tree. Our preference is to remove tree C as this has a double trunk. The work will enhance the asthetic apppeal and allow more light into this area of the garden. The trees also deprive the area of the garden of moisture. Tree D - Beech - self seeded. A poor quality tree that is growing at an angle and does not offfer any significant benefits to this part of the garden. We propose to fell this tree. Tree E - Ash - self seeded. This is a poor quality tree that is growing and a through a concrete slab. Tree F - Sycamore- self seeded. This is a poor quality tree that is growing on a boundary. earlier poor managemnet of the tree has seen limbes removed meaning that the tree is growing across into Leegate Close. Our proposal is to fell both of these trees as we want to clear this area and plant prodcutive fruits trees as well as reestablishing the area for easier access and use. HAR/CA21.
