Plan to remove 2 diseased pear trees and reduce the height of 3 overgrown trees (Ash, Apple, Sycamore) to become part of a mixed hedge, improving light and biodiversity in the gardens of 7 and 9 Beechfield Road.
Tree Works In A Conservation Area
9, Beechfield Road, Cheadle Hulme, Cheadle, SK8 7DS
SK8 7DSFull Proposal
2 Diseased non productive pear trees to be removed on right hand side of garden. These have died due to the large Willow in the Neighbours garden that overshadows them and deprives them of moisture. It is hoped that the 2 apple trees situated next to one of the pear trees that are not covered by this application will benefit from the removal of the pear. 3 Overgrown trees on left hand side of garden 1 Ash, 1 Apple, and 1 Sycamore. These trees are so close to each other that they are competing for space and are unable to grow naturally. It is proposed that they are reduced in height to (c12 feet) become part of the existing mixed hedge (Holly, Laurel, Red Currant.) This will enable better management of the boundary retaining the existing bio diversity of the border whilst allowing more light into the gardens of number 7 and 9 Beechfield Road thereby helping other shrubs and trees that are currently struggling. The work is to be undertaken by a professional arborist, not the owners of the properties. HAR/CA26.
