The tree sits over the main drainage route from the property. The drain is subject to blockage, the latest one being 6th Jan 2025, requiring professional drainage unblocking. It is very likely that the tree roots are the cause of the problem. Therefore, the professional recommended it removal. Not sure about the tree species I am happy to replace (in another area of the garden) with two new specimen trees. HAR/CA34
