Proposal to reduce the height of a cotoneaster shrub that has grown into a small tree at 11 Mill Brow, pruning back 2/3 branches to the trunk to maintain its natural shape.
Tree Works In A Conservation Area
11, Mill Brow, Marple Bridge, Stockport, SK6 5LN
SK6 5LNFull Proposal
This "tree" is a cotoneaster shrub which grows out of the base of my garden wall, at the front of my cottage at 11 Mill Brow and has become a small tree. The cotoneaster grows on the path side of the wall, ie a very narrow walkers path that runs in front of the cottage. There is no vehicular access to the cottage. This "tree" has branches that overhang neighbours gardens. Lower branches already have to be trimmed otherwise they restrict passage along the narrow walkers path. Would like to reduce the height of the tree, pruning back 2/3 branches to the trunk, which will maintain the natural shape and should represent less than 30% of the branches. HAR/CA23.
